Renault Master CEN Compliance Ambulance Renault UK in conjunction with O&H Facilities of Goole, are the first in Europe to achieve full compliance for an A2 class patient transport ambulance to British Standard EN1789 with full VCA approval.

This certification and approval is achieved through rigorous testing on the Renault Master in both static and dynamic laboratory and test track conditions.

The areas examined and certified are:

10G dynamic testing of the whole vehicle conversion

Seat and stretcher anchorages tested to M1

Full electro magnetic compatibility

Interior noise levels

Interior light intensity

Fire retardancy to Class 1

Acceleration and deceleration

Achieving this standard ensures that each vehicle is built with complete continuity to a fully traceable design.

In performing these tests to meet European regulations we have tested all the elements in a worse case situation which allows the user maximum flexibility to adapt the vehicle layouts to their individual needs.
